The Goal
MadDog Technology and its subsidiary, Resolute Building Intelligence, commissioned me to create a series of posters for their office spaces. The designs aimed to visually represent the companies' brands and their distinct identities. Using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, I focused on crafting compelling, professional visuals that not only enhanced the office environment but also aligned with the company's branding and values.
Resolute B.I. Building Posters
Happy Buildings
For the 'Happy Buildings' poster series, I focused on translating the core functionality of Resolute Building Intelligence into a creative visual narrative. The company provides advanced analytics, fault detection, and reporting tools for buildings, so I designed posters featuring various building types symbolizing the company’s broad target market. Each 'happy building' is also representative of a specific time of day, reflecting Resolute B.I.' s round-the-clock operation and reliability. The series was crafted to not only capture the essence of Resolute B.I. but also to communicate its constant presence and active role in maintaining building performance, 24/7. This project involved a thoughtful design process using Adobe Illustrator to create bold, approachable visuals that align with the company's innovative yet practical approach.
Resolute B.I. Apps Posters
Computer Posters
For this series of Resolute Building Intelligence posters, I designed visuals to distinguish the two core apps — Synergy and Fusion — by drawing a parallel between the evolution of technology and the workflow within the apps. These posters were created specifically for the developers' area of the office, and the concept centers on the relationship between the Apple II and Apple Macintosh. The Apple II, with its green screen interface, represents Synergy, the app used for configuration and building integration. Just as the Apple II laid the foundation for the later development of the Apple Macintosh (which introduced the graphical user interface), Synergy must be used first to configure and integrate the building before Fusion can be effective. The Apple Macintosh, with its more advanced graphical interface, symbolizes Fusion, the analytics and reporting tool that provides fault detection, diagnosis, and data insights once the configuration work in Synergy is complete. This design approach visually emphasizes the sequential nature of the apps’ roles in the process — configuration and integration in Synergy must come before users can benefit from the analytics and reporting in Fusion. I used Adobe Illustrator to craft these visuals, ensuring they both highlighted the technical progression and resonated with the developers' environment.
MadDog Technology Companies
Company Posters
These posters were created for MadDog Technology and its subsidiary companies, with each design serving as a creative interpretation of the company's name or its business operations. The design process involved using both Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to craft distinct visuals that not only captured the essence of each company but also highlighted their unique missions and values. The final result was a series of engaging and thoughtful posters that visually represent the diverse brands under MadDog Technology’s umbrella, with each piece tailored to reflect the company's identity in a fun and impactful way.
